Hi! I am Hanting Ye, and you can call me Damon as well. I am a PhD candidate supervised by Prof. Qing Wang and Prof. Marco Antonio Zúñiga Zamalloa at the Embedded Systems (ES) Group of the Computer Science Department, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science (EEMCS), Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. I also closely work with Prof. Guohao Lan. I am also a Marie-Curie PhD Fellow at Project ENLIGHTEM-MSCA.

Research interests

My work involves designing and implementing advanced signal processing, computer vision, and machine learning techniques into embedded systems and commercial smartphones to build privacy-preserving systems. My current research interests include the following aspects:

  • Privacy and security of mobile systems and human-computer interaction (HCI)
  • Computational photography and imaging
  • Trustworthy AI
